My head mechanic's wife just got a job in Hawai'i so they are moving back home (Mikey is from Hilo). I am really going to miss him. He is one top flight mechanic. The best of the best. So I need someone by October 3rd.
Please help me diffuse this into cyberspace and tell everyone you know. SPERAD THE WORD MOTHERBITCHES!
Here is the Job decription:
Master Mechanic
A career mechanic who still loves to work on bicycles. Full Time with medical insurance, 1 week paid vacation, 1 week sick time. Excellent pay, start at $15 per hour. Must ride to work at least 3 times per week! (Otherwise wtf, are you doing working at a bike shop?!) Must have built over 100 wheels. Must have at least 5 years experience (not necessarily professional). Thinks he/she knows everything about bikes but still learns something new everyday. Must not be afraid to look it up or read the instructions! Must know small parts well (or at least where to look for info). Must be comfortable wrenching on department store bikes or Dura Ace dream machines as well as everything in between. Our shop even gets it's share of internally geared bikes and, of course, kids bikes. Must work well with people and not mind if the customer watches you work. We have an open air shop and the customers often get in the way! Must be extremely organized, efficient and clean. Must be friendly and a good listener. Must be open to the ABR way of bike repair. PC literacy required.
Send (email preferred) a Cover Letter and Resume to Aaron’s Bicycle Repair 6521 California Ave SW, Seattle 98136. For more info contact Aaron at 938-9795 or aaron@rideyourbike.com

Aaron, I am honored to be singled out for this. However, I am planning on becoming unemployed for a while in the near future, so a 40 hour per week job is not in my plans. Maybe a 4 hour per week. That sounds about right.
