I’m in need of a volunteer for the uphill sprints on sat. Job pays in beer. You just have to stand at the top of the hill and see who won that heat. Should be kinda easy, they will be coming right back to the start line and will have to check in and say who won. Just need someone up top for those photo finishes. Were meeting at 8 pm at M.O.H.I. racing should be under way by 8:45.

Justin,

Seeing as how my frame is bent and the new bike won't be complete until the end of the weekend I'll volunteer.

Denise is starting to freak me out so I ended up riding Misia's bike to work. Man them geared bikes are weird.

He beat me to it. Jason, if you'd like to race, I'll volenteer and you can even have my beer. My Avanti being broken and me not having a bike I'm comfortable on means I will be sitting this out. :\

Dean,

I'll take your beer anyway!

But seriously folks, I'll be sitting this one out. That means the rest of you have a real chance at winning!

We (well, a bunch of us) usually end up at Colin and Scott's house. It's right next to greenlake and he's got a big back yard full of fun bike toys (choppers, tall bikes, casterbikes).. People usualy head to the Albersons a block away and buy booze and head back to colins for a fun mini-prerace party.

There's a really cool, seemingly little known, pub next to Beth's Cafe called Duck Island (not to be confused with the Aussie meat market down the block). It's got an excellent beer selection and a punk classics juke box. I'll probably head that way if not to someone's yard.

duck island rules. they also have food from beth's, you can order and pay at the duck and they'll bring it over for you. brilliant!
