So I've been forced to work in the old shit department that Mike is taking a vacation from. Our company doesn't like to think ahead so I'm stuck in here.

I've been rocking out but now it's time to go old-school. I've got a whole host of Slayer albums on my music server and you need to vote for which one I should play. Here are a few options.

Remember, I work for very conservative people so the more evil the better.

I know nothing about the various Slayer Albums, however, as with most aggressive bands older=harder. Too many Nancys lightening up as time goes on. Stick to the old stuff and I think you're more likely to have a more evil sound experience.

They pull you back to the trailer park because they smell the stale Pabst on your breath.

Reign In Blood it is......

Why I don't listen to this album more is beyond me. It's time to come back into the playlist.

How about we ride in mass listening to Slayer? That'll piss off some cars!

Just play "Raining Blood" over and over again.

Alternatively you could just loop the intro to Hell Awaits. They'll be killing each other in no time!

i enjoy foisting my musical tastes on my coworkers.

the old church ladies tend to get upset when i've got Rage Against The Machine or Tool playing loud enough that people can hear it on their way to the Senior Pastor's office for their pre-marital counselling sessions.

why are old church ladies going to pre-marital counselling? lot of late bloomers over there?

also, since i run sound at church i pop on a cd to spur on a sense of 'go ahead and converse already, church doesn't start for 15 minutes', and i get interesting comments. people who are totally fine with dave matthews get incensed when i spin something as innocuous as john reuben.

turns out folks don't like hip hop music!

I recommend Happy-Hardcore PsyTrance to get people to suck down their coffee and talk to eachother. Talk, and then slamdance.

I find that speed metal makes them a bit more queesy. I also tend to throw things and just act like an ass.

I've actually been pretty stoked more of the day for this one reason. I've got a jackass trainee who doesn't speak any english and I'm making him do all the work in the name of 'training.'

But still, fuck this place.

Up next? NWA.

the old church ladies who work right outside my office are worried that the young punks coming in for pre-marital counselling will be offended by Zack De La Rocha screaming out "FUCK YOU I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME" over and over and over and over and over and over and...

The only song I can highly recommend from that album, though I like the whole thing, is Payback

You need to take a closer look at me
Cause I was born to be the thorn in your side
No matter what you think you're gonna see
You never wanted this barrage of fucking pride
You don't want none of me

You've got a fucking catheter in your brain
Pissing your common sense away
When you draw first blood you can't stop this fight
For my own piece of mind - I'm going to
Tear your fucking eyes out
Rip your fucking flesh off
Beat you till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass
Fuck you and your progress
Watch me fucking regress
You were meant to take the fall - now you're nothing
Payback's a bitch motherfucker

You only live to be a parasite
Your life must suck when nothing's going your way
Everything melts away before your eyes
You're just a punk that doesn't have the sense to get away
Get the fuck away

You've got a fucking catheter in your brain
Pissing your common sense away
When you draw first blood you can't stop this fight
For my own piece of mind - I'm going to
Tear your fucking eyes out
Rip your fucking flesh off
Beat you till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass
Fuck you and your progress
Watch me fucking regress
You were meant to take the fall - now you're nothing
Payback's a bitch motherfucker

I will never become your fucking scapegoat
I don't know how it feels to come up short
I only want vengeance
To come shining down on me
I don't want you to die
Before I get the chance to kill you myself

You've got a fucking catheter in your brain
Pissing your common sense away
This is for the mindfuck
This is for the hell of it
This is for me- I'm going to
Tear your fucking eyes out
Rip your fucking flesh off
Beat you till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass
Fuck you and your progress
Watch me fucking regress
You were meant to take the fall - now you're nothing
Tear your fucking eyes out
Rip your fucking flesh off
Beat you till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass
Fuck you and your progress
Watch me fucking regress
You were meant to take the fall - now you're nothing
Now you're nothing
You're not fucking shit.

I just looked in the Slayer folder. Looks like you've got the box set, Jason... and probably all week in the crappy office to burn through it.

I blast Punk Bunny to get people all offended. Sure saying "fuck" a lot and screaming will piss some people off, but Punk Bunny is just OBSCENE!
PUNK BUNNY
