totally unrelated to biking

i just got a used whisperlite international stove from MSR. is anyone familiar with these and knows how to use them pretty well?

i know how it works and all, ive ripped it apart in every way. ive got it up to priming and stuff just fine, just cant keep it on steady. not sure if i have too much pressure, not enough pressure, or whatever

anyone used one of these and can walk me through the right way to use the fucker? i can easily pack it along to the ride tomorrow, playing with fire is one of our group hobbies right?

I'm your man with the whisperlite.

Did you pull the tube apart? There is a wire that runs all through, and that is what picks up the most shit on the way across.

I had mine crap out three days hiking into the mountains, as our only stove, in June.

I have one too. I will bring the instruction booklet for reference. I only use it once a year or so, so I am not an expert by any means.

Have you tried dumping gasoline on it and lighting it with a match?

Just Kidding, mine always works just fine.
