True - crazy good deals are shopped out by the other sellers before they open the doors.

Even though I'm not a "member" of .83 yet, I have a number of spare parts from my many upgrades to the 925. Is this something I can get in on?
How about this: Is anybody here interested in buying some stuff?

Even though you don't have a spoke card, yet, you are still a member, Ben.
Some one should get a table, though. Ask to be next to Aaron's Bicycle Repair. My table is in the HEATED portion of the building. Then hanger is FREEZING!

you get TWO vendor passes with a 10x10 space for $40, and up to four additional for $5 each. so for $10/each we can get six people into the show at vendor time. i'm not personally that interested in getting up early to buy bike stuff i don't need but maybe some of you can take advantage of it.
aaron, are you getting a full six vendor passes for you and yours?

I can order as many vendor passes as I want. They are $3 each (I think).
I offered up my excess passes last year, but none of you came out!
Seriously, the best deals are done before the show opens. Still, there is a ton of good stuff. It is worth getting up at 6 am one day a year!

Dibs on a pass please Aaron
I really should sell but i want to browse more than sit and haggle at a booth. I forgot to do my homework, I think the bike swap will always fall on the weekend nearest my wedding anniversary.

I was there last year. I probably didn't know you at the time, but I was there. I'll take a vendor pass for $3. When should one arrive for the 'best deals' part of the swap?

Best Deals and Best Selection are at different times, be there early for the best selection and possibly good deals, be there late and get the stuff that people don't want to haul home for extra cheap.

I just decided yesterday to go so I guess I'm out on the early bird passes (although if anyone has an extra....). If anyone sees some sweet, lightweight racing rims that would otherwise go before 9am I'll give you a finder's fee in beer.
Example:
But for....oh I dunno.....$500. I'd be happy with something not as space-age, but a girl can dream.

seconded on the finders fee, I'm looking for a nice leather saddle, STI shifters -9 or 10spd preferred, haven't bought anything for the drive train for this new project yet, so it could be campy or Shimano. I'll be there for when the doors open, alarm clocks willing.

Define sweet rims.
I have some Araya clones of the Mavic MA2 that haven't been used that I'm going to sell. 32 hole, silver, lightweight.
I'll be there, table #10, probably showing up around 7am to setup and walk the show.

They'd be for a race wheelset I have to build up so <400g, prefer tubular, maybe carbon fiber, 32h or less.
And thanks but they'd be going on Campy hubs and I'll go to hell if I build them with Japanese rims.

No. Anyone that wants an Early Bird pass, Meet me at the Swap at 6 AM!
I will not be checking this message board between now and then. Call me at the shop. 938-9795
Trevor and Andre have dibs on 2 passes. I MIGHT have one or 2 more. Call me. Andre and Trevor, call me to verify you will be there.
This is the best I can offer, because I am too busy at the shop getting ready. Passes cost $5 each.

Tubular and carbon fiber are even earlier hints than where the rims are made.

And what exactly would you pair with Campy Hyperon or Bora carbon fiber rims? 105 and armidillos?

Why do I still have 2 unclaimed passes?
I am going to be pretty disappointed if no body claims them, especially since I paid extra for them.
$5 each, first come first served.
TIME UPDATE. Meet me at 6:30 AM at the south side of Hanger #30 in Magnuson Park.
Please call me at the shop to claim one 938-9795

Don't know if many of you have heard, but Andre's dad passed away. Needless to say, he is going to miss the swap. So now I have 2 tickets up for grabs! Price is reduced to $1 per ticket (basically, Andre's ticket is free and Trevor already paid me $3 if he shows or not)
