okay fine, all you pro-keg people get your wish. i'm going to head home and grab my kickass trailer. i am going to be so wishing by the end of the night that i had that 26t granny chainring instead of the honkin' 30t, i'm pretty sure.

I have a 24T (I'll give it to you for hauling the beer!). Bring a crank puller and we can install it at WLC.
I also have one of those 4th chainring adaptors that allows you to have a 18T extra extra-small chainring.

no dice, unfortunately. i've got a 26t sitting at the house ready to install, but the crank is stripped. i'm sure i'll be fine, and i'll fix it eventually.
the fourth chainring thing seems tempting, i wonder how much i could move with 14 gear inches? it'd be like riding a tiny little tricycle.

I'd consider offering hauling help too, as I have a 24t ring, but my bike already weighs more than I do, and I'm freakin' tired today after making sure Miles made it home last night.
I'll still be on the ride of course.

Oh yeah and I have disabled list spoke cards. I'm not quite sure how these are intended to be distributed, as the people who deserve them mostly can't ride. I guess Alistair and Alison and whoever else has been broken lately might want one?

As the President of .83 Silver, I decree that if us old farts can do this ride, you young rascals sure can. The President of .83 and I had a phone conference. He revealed the route to me. I know this route well. All of you kids can make it. That goes for Trevor and Lee with Beer trailer. The hardest part will require a portage, but it is not impossible. It will be fun! We might want to disguise the keg. Make it look like a dead body. That way the cops will leave us alone!
And the grumbling was coming from the young skinny tired folk.
NO ONE SKIPS TONIGHT!
GAWD DAMMIT!!!I cant make it...work, broken bike, woman reliant (gah)! Fuck, Mr. President...
...wait...when did THAT happen? You been taking queues from King George W? Personal phone calls from gawd?
Talk about needing a recount!

MOLLY!
If it's not too late, could you bring the two calendars I purchased to the ride?

My intention was that anyone out for more than two weeks gets one. Right now, that is Finn. If you want to hand them out to former DL'ers, that's fine, but my intention was that you just pass them on to Derrick, as he seems the one most likely to be able to pass them to the appropriately busted-up, now and in the future.
He says, 38 minutes after the ride starts. Whatever.

Hope you guys had fun tonight. I was just too exhausted to do anything but drink.
Anyone up for Bainbridge on Sunday? I'll start another thread and see.

I've been out since nov. 8th, I would dig one.
[note: bone scan february 8th. they think I can ride that day. I am very excited, but it is going to hurt, I went around the block a couple times and it huuuuuurts. Never get a comminuted fracture in the hand.]

I was a fun ride. ~15 miles by my cyclometer (and I took the bus home from downtown).
One grueling hill (for me, that is) and a very dark off-road stretch to keep us on our toes. An epic ride (for me, again) to celebrate coming off two weeks of not riding.
Thanks to all for being so patient with the flat(s) and the lending of tools (ps - Paul, what's the name/brand of your pump?)
G'night, I'm pooped.

This sounds like a ride I should have attended. But I had to work, so when I got home I put the Last Waltz on repeat and commenced drinking all of the alcohol in my apartment.

Greg, I just gave them to Derek and relieved myself of the responsibility, but I think relying on him to do any specific thing is foolhardy. Shit, he was throwing spoke cards in the fire a week or so ago.

No slight intended; feel free to grab one. I don't know everyone, so I'm sure I have/will miss some people. Which is why I think they should go to Derrick --- he knows everyone. Perhaps even in the biblical sense.
Oh, and good luck and get well.
