Hey douchebags -

Where can I go other than Greggs to buy a fancytrek? I don't like like Gregg enough to share my wealth with him.

LeMond bikes lick booty. Or at any rate, they aren't any better than anything else out there.

name a better riding, fiscally responsible, us made, well designed, built up steel rig with a decent tubeset that is readily available to test ride.

i think what you mean is they aren't cool, or indie.

They're not us-made anymore, and they only make one steel frame (poprad) that I'm aware of. So: they lick booty.

I don't see the relation. Not US made doesn't mean it sucks just like US made doesn't mean it's t3h aw3some.

Sheesh, it's about fit and features. Quality of manufacturing is a feature too, you just have to look for it, like everything else.

My 2004 orange creamsicle Sarthe is steel, US made and has Campy. IIRC, the 05 and 06 steel LeMond's were also US made.

I'll ride it next time I come out and see if anyone is up for some analingus - given the Campy cable routing, the brifter hood nubs would be ideal.

Classic Cycle on Bainbridge stocks LeMond, in addition to Montlake and Gregg's.

Don't be hatin' - its a fucking bicycle.

different weltanschaung.

Gregg was always into killer technology. Lance was into masking steroid use with anti-cancer drugs. Besides....

I can't comment on the drug use cause I don't know, but as to the technology, Lance put a LOT of time into PD with Shimano and Trek. He had more influence on their products than anyone. As to the Armstrong line of bikes, who knows...it could happen but it's way too early at this point.
