It's Tuesday, the weather's decent, I'm in reasonably good health, and my wife is watching the kids. This can only mean one thing:
Six[x]!

Rad. James bond w/ Paul Allen sounds like a good time. Is his fridge well-stocked, or should we pick up a bunch of beer on the way?

The suggestions we make online never get followed, so I suggest we pedal down to Golden Gardens, then follow the train tracks to Edmonds.
Hmmm, yes, well...
I had this random urge to pointlessly climb a hill, then go to Madison Beach. Or, riffing on the Ito/Allen jam session, we could do the Mercer Island Loop.
Whatever we do, I suspect it's going to get cold as the night wears on, so I suggest a good amount of riding before stopping somewhere warm. There's a burn ban on, so this would mean somewhere indoors.

That would depend on when you get there.
But I was planning on showing up sometime after 6:15 or so. Try to contain your excitement.

This is starting to sound like one of those '80s teen movies.

Well, I hope Derrick's date with Paul Allen worked out better than my evening: I noticed there was something wrong with my rear wheel, but it was only after we had stopped at the Interbay QFC that I figured out my rear rim was splitting.
I turned around immediately and carefully headed back toward the UW, but, not surprisingly, the tire went flat by the Fremont Bridge. I walked it along the trail before my wife caught up with me and drove me home.
