For sale:

Terry Classic women's bike. Probably has around 200 miles total. Few scratches on the frame but otherwise cherry. For those of you who know her, this bike would probably fit Megan (Langston's GF).

Size? The frame size is somewhere around 47cm. Think woman somewhere in the 4'11-5'2 category. Standover height is around 26 inch. Came spec'd with a 700c front wheel, 24" front wheel. Weird combo but it works for the right person.

Drop bars. Components are Ultegra or XT. Comes with Canti's but I'll throw in a set of XT v-brakes in case you can't get the canti's set right (I never could). Speedplay frogs. Doesn't include a saddle. My wife loves the saddle and wants to keep it.

Price? Totally open to negotiation. When I put this thing on CL in a couple weeks I'll be asking $750. However, if the bike fits you, you need a bike and I feel confident you'll love the bike the way it deserves, I'll let it go for whatever you can afford. Ask Hayduke about my policy on this.

Update:

The bike is now at Aaron's. Check it out at your leisure.

Tell Soo thanks for bringing it over. The kid had a great time. Breanna (spelling?) was a complete crack-up. She was laughing so hard when I was goofing off with my front wheel pretending it was a basket ball.

Since I think this bike is sold (and thus I'm not stealing any sales), I'm going to list a similar bike.

At the swap I'll have a Terry-style, Novara made lugged 24/700C wheeled bike. The frame is 48cm. It has horizontal dropouts. Wheels with tires are included (the rear has a freewheel, not a cassette) and so is a stem and handlebars and I think a front brake. It'll make a great singlespeed or fixie project for some so inclined. It is has a pretty nice paint job with a constrasting headtube and seattube like all of the lugged Novara bikes made in the mid-80s.

It'll be listed for $30 at my swap table (table #10) on Sunday and dropping. I'd sell it to a point83er for $20.

With other swap parts I bet you could get a singlespeed together for well under $100 and a fixie for only slightly more.

Nope, not actually sold yet. But hijacking threads is a tradition here. I have one solid maybe and a couple of "I might be interested."
I haven't even put it on craigslist yet.

It's at Aaron's shop right now. His argument was that anyone likely to buy it would be closer to ABR than my place in Mill Creek.

$750 is what it'll be going for on CL. I'm perfectly willing to negotiate.

If you supply the flat bars, shifter and brake levers, I'll even install them. PM me for more details.

Also, it needs a saddle. My wife wants to keep the one in the photo.
