You're all invited to a dessert party at my place. In a surely-futile attempt to foil the robot stalkers, here's the important info in image form:
[Edit - delete image. PM me if you need my digits.]
In addition to the drinks and sweets, there will be children at this party --- friends of my 6- and 3-year olds, plus their siblings. You have been warned. On the other hand, last year I was eating chocolate leftovers washed down with sweet alcoholic beverages every night for two weeks, until I got the flu. Is one related to the other? Who cares? Come and eat chocolate and potentially help me avoid a similar fate in 2007.
If I missed anything, this cut-and-paste from evite should answer the rest of your questions:

Winter is almost over, and we need just one more big event to get us over the hump. So please join Greg, Elizabeth, Omar and Emmett at our house for a chocolate dessert party to celebrate the imminence of spring. As always, your children, SOs, roommates and houseguests are welcome to attend!
This dessert party is BYOC/BYOB. We'll supply some chocolate goodies as well as some drinks suitable for drinking with good chocolate (i.e., port and a dessert wine). We'd like you to bring along either a chocolate treat, or a beverage suitable for a dessert party (beverages need not be alcoholic --- kids are welcome at this party). We'll also supply some cheese and crackers so you don't have to go into sugar shock.

Oh yeah, and Mike, here's your chance to hijack my thread.

If you hadn't guess from the STP thread, we'll have the whole tribe there. I think.

Stick around to the end of this party, and if it's anything like last year's, you'll have some to carry home.
I'll probably bring the alcohol extras on subsequent .83 rides. Drinking the port nightly reminded me of the time I had dinner at High Table at an Oxford college --- excellent food followed by even more excellent dessert and dessert wines. But I can't imagine doing it every day.

The next day is the Seattle Bike Swap. None of you gave me money, except Trevor so no one gets in early. However, they bumped the price to $5 and limited my tally to 2 extra people. It is too late for me to get extra tickets anyway. However, I don't think it is too late for .83 to get a booth. The limit on extra folks getting in early, means that there will be even sweeter deals for fewer folks! I have one possibly 2 extra tickets because Val probably won't come and Nygaard is out of town. One is yours Andre, the other is maybe up for grabs. However, I need a commitment and help setting up my booth.

I will be there at 6:30 AM!
Hey, that's right over the hill from my place!
But if you're really going for the thread hijack, I suggest Lunar New Year. Or a good skiing/snowboarding thread. It's President's Day weekend, prime time for a trip to the mountains.

Four! Days that is (photo from last year's party).
Just bumping this up to the near-top. Consider this your final warning.
Also wanted to report that my wife and I have been feverishly testing our version of Strawberries Arnaud, from Sean's favorite town. This has meant swallowing a great number of mouthfuls of port-marinated strawberries and ice cream. The sacrifices I must make for my guests.

Awesome!
Are they high energy by nature, or are you factoring in the chocolate?

They are both high energy by nature. The girl (2) is probably the more high energy of the two. At Aaron's 4th of july xtracycle ride, she decided to take off all her clothes and run down the street in front of Aaron's house butt nekkid.

Greg had quite a spread. Those port-soaked strawberries made me feel like an underage girl at a frat party- Delicious. Sean's daughter also got half naked and belligerant. (Which at 2, is pretty adorable.) Thanks for having us, Greg.

She became more so by the time we got home. I think she had gotten into the aforementioned strawberries. She's already demonstrated a taste for alcohol.
And as promised, my top 10 make out songs:
Nights in White Satin- Moody Blues
Fleur du Desert - Arnica Montana
Six Underground - The Sneaker Pimps
Damn I Wish I Were Your Lover - Sophie B. Hawkins
Sadeness - Enigma
Walk This World - Heather Nova
Dilate -Ani DiFranco
Breathe - Faith Hill
Michelle Plays Ping Pong - DaisyxDaisy
Days Go By - Dirty Vegas

You're welcome, but the spread was basically a community product. By the time the 3rd family (Sean et al.) showed up, it was already overwhelming our dining room table. But we managed to polish things off a lot better this year, so that instead of having a ridiculous amount of leftovers, we only have far too many leftovers. Expect to see some of these on a ride soon.
