That is a good book, of course I listened to it on the IPOD, because the last thing I want to do in my leisure time is read (12 hours a day in books is enough).

The first couple books or so are good. But he's a hack and the series goes downhill fast. I don't need to hear every couple of paragraphs about peoples mannerisms. *tugs braids* The last couple of books went nowhere fast. *smoothes skirts* Nine or ten books in and who knows when he'll put a bullet in the series head.

Seriously if you want some good writing read some Lois McMaster Bujold, Roger Zelazny, C J Cherryh, Raymond E Feist (The first 4 riftwar books are excellent) or many other authors. Barbara Hambly has some great stuff, but some it is a tad dark and depressing to read much.

You were spot on! I thought you were talking about the name of the series, and I didn't even remember the title of the first one! Rad!
