Dumb Fucking Luck to run into Derrick at the Opera House. It was balls-hot out and muggy. He was heading out to NZ shortly and I was out for a day with the fam. Bike riding on the Left is NOT intuitive.

awesome. Good job .83. I think it should be a goal to put up the .83 flag on every continent this year.

but will China be in you? We know Derrick's already been "in" Australia, or at least some of their finest.

uhm... as it will be my first experience in China, i'm going to say "no" to the locals...
unless they ride really awesome bikes.

Depends on whether not you think the flying pigeon is an awesome bike. Some good friends of mine just got back from Beijing last month. They brought me a PLA winter hat complete with a commie red star and some Chinese alcohol that is 55% or some such. Don't trust anyone that tries to sell you an "antique".

Well, no flag, but I did pirate a ride on a delivery trike down in Kerala.
Other than that, I'm riding the only fixed gear in India... (Probably hyperbole, yes, but this is the nature of things here.)
A bikey friend (non .83) from Seattle is doing peace corps and riding bikes in Africa (Guinea and now Burkina Faso).
Davis and I will be in Istanbul in June, perhaps we can ride from Europe to Asia and back again.
Greg is in Central America. He just needs to hop down into Colombia.
