9 hours MBs, and that's right, today is the first day of the year where the sun will still be above the horizon past 7:00 of course by the time we roll out of WLC it'll be set. A dry and cool evening. Route ideas? I'm still pulling for trip to the beacon greenbelt but tat could be combined with another route.

Some of my colleagues are planning on drinking to celebrate the end of quarter at the Pinehurst Pub on 15th and around 115NE; anyone up for a Northgate Taco Truck visit followed or preceded by the Pinehurst?

It's also Remington's 21st birthday today. So we ought to plan accordingly.

Beware the Ides of March!
Btw, unlike Tuesday, winds are forecast to be light and from the NE (although now they're saying they'll shift to the SE after midnight). I must say those Tuesday winds gave me quite the confidence boost pulling my kid in the Burley north and east to Sandpoint.

Moving takes priority over riding for me, so I'll be skipping tonight. Sorry all, these boxes aren't packing themselves.

I'd like to go north. I plan on meeting some friends at north seattle cc at 9, and having them join the ride.

I wasn't reallly planning on riding because I'm fed up with the cold, but I sure do love that northern taco truck route, so I might be in.
Henry, you could try my phone if you can't find anyone else for certain on the ride and there's a 50-50 chance I'll be riding. five, five, zero, nine, nine, six, two.

wlc -> interlaken via a very long flat tire fix. then the hop in for beer, up behind husky stadium and through ravenna/cowen park to greenlake and then to taco truck. all of that? useless.
then, suddenly, henry is there and we are going to the pinehurst pub, drunk chicks are trying to take home random (or brandon?) guys and hitting on anything with a pulse and a potential penis. and we keep pouring shots into remington. woo!
then we went to changes. a middle-of-the-road ride turned awesome, i say. good on us for trying a new bar and having such a good group for a good long while.
remington: i hope you enjoy your hangover and appreciate the folks that took you home to take care of you.

Ah, so essentially the instant I left it got 1337% awesomer. Hmmm, I hope that's not cause and effect. Well, I'm glad you fellows had a good time.

Happy Birthday Remington, may your hangover be short and not involve copious amounts of bodily fluids.

I'll head down to the Pinehurst if I ever want any action like that again, but such a thing is not likely.
I cried a little, but I hid in the bushes to cover it up. That's where I found Henry and Ben.

Being at that taco truck at 9 was the only destination I wanted last night, but I'll admit, that flat fix was useless. :)

It was a good chance for me to try out my new headlight.

Don't worry, I saved Brandon. That was about the point I stopped remembering things. Aaron, I just barely remember splashing you in the face, but sorry about that.

If only I could remember...
zuvembi wrote:

The only fluid involved was a jello shot that I was smart enough to turn down at changes, but apparently stupid enough to "save for later" in my back pocket... Other than that, I woke up feeling fine. Maybe I'm not doing it right :). It was early enough to get to work on time, but I spent all day sleeping anyways.

Huge thanks to everyone that watched over me on the ride. I'd name names if I could remember them all :). I will say that Ali and Jen took great care of me after the ride.
I'll see you all tomorrow! And maybe post more details as (or if) I remember them..

Sorry about that...
I did tear open my crappy ass pump and fixed the butterfly valve, there was sand and grit in it holding it open. Many thanks to Michael fer chuggin up the hill to get a functional pump. That is a beer I owe ya.
I wish I coulda seen the cggw's at the bar... but I was already in trouble fer missin an appointment. I had to meet up with responsibilities instead of beer.
That was a quite fun, I've missed riding in groups. I think I will make it tuesday.

OK, Remmy,
That was one fun B-day ride!
Miles too.
Right after everyone left Changes, and I mean like 10 seconds after Lee rode away, I got on my bike and decided to accompany Henry home (part of the way). I hopped on my bike and snap! my right pedal broke off. I did manage to limp, Daniel Featherhead style, to Pioneer Square for snacks. Then I spent the next half hour looking for a mini-van taxi to take me and my broken bike back to West Sizzle. My front wheel is bolt on and I was too lazy/drunk to pull it for a normal taxi. Yawn.

Nothing of that sort! Mostly remmy freaking out on brandon when he touched heidi, all "Get your filthy hands off her!" style! it was rad.
