Depends if you want sunshine or rain. If my time was free I would have started riding around noon. But I am just hoping it holds off till after 6 when I get home.

BTW I hate Schwalbe Marathon Slick tires, flat magnets

I'll probably stop by recycled beforehand and make it out. Assuming it's not really pouring and I don't get some kind of other really fun offer of something to do tonight.

I'm probably going to show up if I can warm up before it is time to leave. I don't want to go too far because I've ridden without fenders the last two days and became soaked.

i'd like to empty out the rest of that elysian esb from st patrick's day. if i am emptying it into your mouths, so much the better?

it's currently at nygaards and i'm not assuming we can consume it there. but i am open to options.

I just made pesto from scratch, and watched it rain as if we're being punished for something.

Once it gets a little nicer out, I'm planting basil and making pesto till I pee green.

Langston, start your basil indoors now. Basil won't like it outside until about June, so you get a 2 month head start. A packet of seeds is about as much as 1-2 plants, and lasts for years. And basil is pretty darn easy to grow.

By the way, you can make pesto out of lots of green things. Ever try cilantro pesto? Yummy. Cilantro is even easier to grow, and you never have to buy more than one packet of seeds, since each plant produces a jillion seeds of its own (the seed is known as coriander, if you know your spices; you can probably just try using whole seeds from your spice rack if you bought them at PCC or a similar place that doesn't spray their stuff with chemicals to stop them from sprouting).

Pine Nuts & Olive Oil for your pesto making can be purchased from Costco for a reasonable price. We freeze a dozen containers each year to get us thru the winter.

I made it with roast walnuts last night, as the pine nuts I bought mysteriously had been eaten. It was tasty.

Beer, bikes, good food. If this is bizarre, I don't want to be normal.

Well, when you put it that way it doesn't seem so strange.
