Seriously. Someone come ride with me. I don't care if we go to Olympia or Pt. Townsend or loop Lake Washington or what, but I gotta ride! And by myself is boring.

The lake is fun, and pretty easy. Especially if you go south-first you can't really get lost as long as you keep the lake to the left of you the whole time.

Let's do it. Noon Red Square? Or Westlake? Saturday or Sunday?

I'm thinking Saturday at red square or a near by cafe. I may want to check out the Brad Lewis Memorial Criterium on Sunday.

give me a week to fly back to the US, and i'll ride! it's so amazingly SLOW on bicycles in BeiJing, as I am having to dodge fixed gears hauling refrigerators or slow, slow cruisers carrying around 50 gallons of water. not to mention the other 14 million people here...
yay! bikes!

Then the bbq?
If FedEx drops off my frame _and_ I get time to build it up before noon tomorrow then I'll be there.
Where exactly is red square? I live about a mile from UW and ride through there regularily, but don't know the names of anything.
Are you guys doing the full loop or the abbreviated Mercer loop or the South loop or don't know yet?
alex
Which Alex are you? Wetmore would know where RS is and has more than one bike.....

Is this your fancy new custom? I've never done the full or abbreviated loop. I plan to ride until I don't feel like riding anymore.

I've been given the green light to ditch the foot brace and my clavicle is healing up nicely. If I can get my Peugeot going by tomorrow, I just might show up.

I have more than one bike, but I need to finish up the new bike for a ride on Sunday. I bet I can have it put together. What better way to break in a new bike than a long ride?
I don't know where RS is. I'm sure I've ridden through it, I'm just lousy with names.

It's the red blob on the campus map. It is an awkwardly shaped square.

Eric, obviously, you have first go at riding my second Bianchi. We could draw straws or trade off on fixed vs. geared. Although you should get the Peugot happening too!!!

I've got plenty of bikes, I'd just really like to get that Peugeot out and it's really close. There is still some queston of whether or not my foot will fit into my bike shoes since it's still swollen, so I may have to put flats on whatever I ride.

Al and Eric showed just as I hit submit :) Then, we all wussed out in the rain but stopped for cider and food. I think we were all expecting today to be like yesterday. Silly weather, isn't it supposed to be spring now?
