i would also like to re-up my offer of getting anyone into stone gardens for free the first time if they would like to try the climbing.

I'd like to do this. I think I've rebuilt the strength in the hand I broke to haul my bulk up a face. Only one way to find out!

I'm going to swoop into Second ascent this afternoon, but if they don't have what i'm looking for i might take you/Laura up.

You know anywhere else local to get a harness on the cheap?

2nd time around in Ballard is a good place for used harnesses, as is Second Ascent. There s a great climbing shop down University way (next to R&E Cycles, the name escapes me currently)...Jim (owner) is a great guy and has decent prices on quality climbing gear and is no screwball kid, he knows his shit!. Screw REI...support your local climbing shop!

But...as a seasoned wall rat let me be the first to ADVISE AGAINST PURCHASING A USED HARNESS!

You never, ever, know what has happened prior to you using it. Like ropes, harnesses do have a life span for falls, and gravity is not your friend.

I've seen perfectly "good" gear fail...thankfully without life altering consequences.

for reasons i'm fairly sure you can figure out, second accent only sells new harnesses.

my friend has a couple one size fits all harnesses that i'm sure he'd let you borrow.

otherwise you may be able to rent them from feathered freinds.

we need to plan this out a bit. I'm working a day job, two side-jobs in addition to playing in a band, and riding with you jackals. I'm free this friday night...

Its been all over this coast and up many a rig. I assume you want to climb the mast?
