i just test drove a 1951 Chevy Deluxe. hold the beating though, it had a straight 6 with a 3 on the tree, no big block v8. because im environmentally conscious and all

Don't feel guilty on account of me. I have fond memories of riding my dad '51 Chevy when I was a kid. Even if they include walking home after running out of gas one night or being afraid to open the window cause the door handle and window crank looked similar and I was afraid I would open the door and fall out!

im not into 60's muscle cars.
i love the occasional mid/early 60's caddy (i had a 66 coupe deville)... but muscle cars? negativo.
lead sled all the way. i want a daily driver hot rod/rat rod looking car. even if it is a 4 door like the chevy above :)

I'd take it over 60-70's muscle any day too. But it's gotta be primer black, pinstripes optional, alloy wheels not allowed, neon paint earns you a beat down.

I will admit that I kind of like muscle cars. Cars with some style.
I like 60's Mustangs, GTO's and those cute cars that look like a short pick-up and I am not taking about Subaru's.

That wasn't my car. It was my best friend's and we were both mountain biking. We carpooled there!
This was my car:
Mine was blue, got 13 mpg with a 289 engine. You could see the gas gauge go down when you hit the gas! But I could catch air going up the counter balance.

It got 35mpg and was a 1983 model year.

That's the Plymouth and station wagon version of my favorite car that I owned. It had the old style of 318 and a push button transmission. Also, the vertical bars of the dodge grille style were much cooler, as was my primer black paint job.

I've owned a '64 Impala, '67 Caddy convertible, and recently sold my favorite car ever... a '59 Nomad wagon. And oh yeah, I start here as an Art Director on the 21st. Yay petroleum! It's actually quite the source of internal conflict... loving old gas-guzzling iron and bicycles at the same time. I reconcile by drinking lots of beer.
