i'm going to be late on joining the ride today 'cause i've got to work late and put together bucket panniers, but i'll need food/drink at some point and i figure how better than with a little classic prefunking/dinner break at the cip.

anybody interested? 6pm?

I was there, and saw someone's Miyata with a 24-hour race spoke card but never saw the owner (who's is it?). For a "Mega-Pick-Up" it was pretty sorry, all I got was a handful of those reflective snap bands and a cotton t-shirt. At least last years was some sort of performance fabric. Last year I got first aid packets and clif product samples!

Handlebar bags: get a smallish one. Lots of weight high up on the bars = sucky handling. Unless it's supported by a front rack randonneur style. Then the weight is low and not hanging off the bars.

I like to hang puppy's from my bars. They don't mind!
