Maybe cars should slow down.
I used to work and ride in Kent. Those roads are all 6 lanes wide with every car driving 70 MPH. The posted speed limit is 50 MPH on many of them.

Yeah, that's a few blocks from where I eat lunch sometimes.

All of the crosswalk signals in Kent are hosed. They usually take 2 cycles after you push the button to give you a 'walk'.
