Long Haul Trucker frame and fork.
$350
Not cheap, but not too bad for something brand spankin new.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/614011710.html
I did not mean this in fucktardery.

This is not such a bad deal for someone who wants to spec their own LHT.

So I'm trying to sell one of my bikes - here's the ad: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/bik/642286471.html

(Still for sale btw....)

Here's a really funny conversation that resulted:
(start from the bottom up)

He hasn't responded yet this morning, I'm not sure where I want to go with him next. This is good times, I need to sell stuff on craigslist more often.

32 miles a day? Really? Wow. I'm impressed. I take back everything I said. I no longer question your sexuality, or your vast bicycle intellect. You really do have your shit in one bag man.

So do you want to buy my bicycle?

Listen FUCKFACE with the continuing homophobic connotations...I bike commute 32 miles per day, everyday. Your ad caught my eye because I can't stand it when people try to sell shit on CL. What you're selling looks like repainted crap with fake Colnago decals. That's right, they can be bought too. Get a life and a job...Homo.

No, YOU look ass pirate - If I wanted your advice I would have asked for it. I didn't. I am posting a FOR SALE ad. Are you in the right area of Craigslist? You might only be familiar with M4M, so let me explain to you how it works over on this side of the board - people post stuff up for sale - if you want to buy it, or if you have a question - feel free to ask. If you don't want to buy it, move on to the next ad. Just because you happen to possess files of the history of columbus tubing does not mean that you have permission to offer your worthless opinion on every item posted. What it does mean is you have a little too much time on your hands. Get a life. Ride your bike. Fuck off.

Look DOUCHEBAG, I was trying to give you some advice. Columbus didn't develop the SLX tubing until the mid '80's. I still have an '88 Miele with SLX that I raced on. The SLX tubing had "rifling" inside in certain parts. Columbus developed a dozen better steel tubesets after that time. Should I send you the comprehensive Columbus tubing history I have on file? The 600 on your bike is antique compared to the later Ultegra even of the early '90's. I have single wheels on some of my bikes that are worth more than what you're asking for this mutt, and as far as bike info/history, I'll bury you. Good luck.

Thanks Jack. Ass.

Bet you get that all the time. :) I'll also bet you don't understand why people say that. Funny world huh?

Not sure why you responded, but since you did - yes, as it clearly states in the ad, it was re-painted. Not sure why someone would have the BALLS to re-paint a bike frame with something other than what it was originally painted. How un-original. From your abhorrance of the color purple, I'm gettting a homophobic vibe. Good luck with that.

Also as I stated in the ad, I BELIEVE the bike has SLX tubing. Since it was repainted - and has no decals - I can only guess. Since you don't even know that 600 became Ultegra (the shifters actually say 600/Ultegra on them) though, I'm sure you can understand my reluctance to take your word about something as esoteric as tube types.

Thanks for your useless comments. Quit perusing ads for bikes you can't afford.

Repainted? I've never seen a Colnago this ugly purple color. Why someone would do this is beyond me. Where did the Colnago decals come from. Columbus SLX was used mid '80's to early '90's. Colnago frames have the trademark clover engraved in the lugs. Old Shimano 600 is not Shimano Ultegra. Good luck.

I think Bicycle-specific Asperger's needs its own DSM code.

Christ, someone else in Seattle has a Miele?

Dude is taking his quest to discredit your ad way too seriously, but he is right about the tubing from what I know. $700 bucks is a little steep for what you have, but I bet someone will pay it...which is what selling shit on CR is all about.

Yeah, that's my thought too, I was hoping to get 550/600 for it so put it up for 7 to see what kind of offers I get, if nothing I'll strip it and part it out on ebay. <shrug> As far as the tubes... he's probably right, but at this point I don't want to give the fucker the satisfaction of correcting the ad.

The wonderful thing about Asperger's is that its obsessive eye can be turned on anything, ANYTHING at all. Oh God it can be scary. Wonderful too, but scary. Scarondful.

That guy has a few more problems than typical Asperger's. I'd mostly just say anal and too much time on his hands. What's the DSM code for that?

I'm not sure. This group exhibits a classic progression from 291.4 to 294.1.

someone can let another person live in their home for whatever reason that they work out. shit, you could even put "multiple massages a week" on a lease im sure in place of monetary payment.

different, but i dont see why it's not legal. saw one in seattle once where some rich guy was trying to fill his house with young 18-25 year old girls and give them housing in exchange for household chores. creepy, but hey, if it worked for someone, he gets a household of young girls and they get easy living.
