Custom built by Ocell in Minneapolis-lower offers not considered. A recumbant like this today would run $2000
The bike has 15 speeds through a 5 speed derailer on the rear wheel and the rear hub has a three speed internal speed changer.
The speed changers are twist grips on the handle bars. As a 'chopper' style recumbant there are two sets of center pull brake calipers on the rear wheel as braking on the front wheel is not a good idea. The brake handles are standard lever hand grips on the handle bars.
Emphasis mine, but the whole thing is awesome.

Granted, if you are looking hard it is not that difficult to find objects in this world that are more defensively engineered than bicycle brake levers. But completely inverted? Really, pal?

Great insoles. The monocoque construction is really the key; I had previously tried using (unnamed manufacturer)’s bicoque insoles, and was left very unsatisfied. The Predator’s coque is bigger and stiffer than it’s competitors in every way. Worth the price.
Little Kids DiamondBack Lil'One Mexican Market Cargo Trike - $100 (Green Lake)
This was brought back from Mexico, and these are typically used to sell bread and/or flowers at the
market. It has 16-inch wheels, single speed coaster brake, and limited turning radius to help stability.

Pic was taken at JRA bike shop on Crown Hill. They must have it for sale there, I'll have to swing by tomorrow and take a look. Could be awesome for minibike winter.
