Parsley is up; I just thinned it.
Two types of corn in the ground, and sprouting.
Incidentally, if this year's anything like the last time I planted corn, there will come a time when I have too much of the stuff, and I'll just have to have you clowns ride over and eat some. Probably in August, but I won't count my chickens yet.

I've got 3 spots with radishes, and more on the way. They're easy.
Cukes are up inside, and waiting to be transplanted. I trust lemon cucumbers are okay?

One squash in the ground, a few in pots waiting for the purple broccoli and cauliflower to finish.
I don't plant bean sprouts, although I will have to thin the beans, at which point I will have a few sprouts, I guess. Radish and broccoli/cauliflower sprouts are tastier, in my opinion.

I gave up on potatoes (either spelling); they're cheaper at the store, and not worth the hassle.
I don't have the land to raise cheeseburgers (although I do have a few of the ingredients).
Guess you finally got me.

Plenty of lettuce (at least 4 types), and I already told you about cucumbers. Is this some sort of fetish?

Now you're just getting picky. But I do have some romaines out there. For the early girls, you'll have to sneak into my next door neighbor's yard and steal a few.
Oh, what a straight line. I'm so embarrassed.

With any luck, there will be some available when I'm overwhelmed with corn.
Thus endeth the farm report for the day.

i dunno, i kind of wish you would have left his blowhard, overwrought posts. there's something tragically poetic about someone with so little self-awareness so much ego and presumption, and such a poor ability to interface with the rest of society. this is the kind of man that created the usenet threads of legend.

Sorry Lee, but the Shane nostalgia craze was so 1:30pm. We're now into the vegetable nostalgia half-hour.

I'm pretty sure it's dead easy to get veggie corndogs. They might be vegan, for all I know; I was just looking to avoid pig toenails and the like the last time I bought them.

Dear Shane,
I am a smart girl and aware of proper etiquette (although how you would know anything about me is beyond me: unlike everyone else who posts here, you've never met me!!!). This is a forum for people who actually know one another in real life, not simply internet life (if I mustt reiterate Henry's point, who typically I would rather crash into and spill off his bike).
You are the outsider who decided to just start posting on our forum. If an individual would like to meet us, the invitation to show up on a ride is clearly posted (www.point83.com). You, stranger-here, have just violated obvious etiquette and wandered into someone's living room.
Sincerely,
Allison
P.S. You are not invited to the birthday ride next week for me, the other Allison, and Molly
P.P.S. I am eating grilled asparagus right now! With salt!
P.P.P.S For those of you motherbitches who missed out on my birthday party on Monday, I'll post the pics in the gallery. Too bad we didn't get any of Derrick carrying a dozen doughnuts out of the bar.
P.P.P.P.S. Jack from the Bike Shack gets attacked!!
P.P.P.P.P.S. I posted this reply just for zanimal. BTW, I have a picture of you staring at my tits the other day, it's a nice one
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Where the fuck is my ladies division .83 silver spoke-card???
P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. I miss you fuckers, I'm not going to see you until the cupcake ride.
P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S I'm sorry, I'll stop now

You can get delicious freshly-fried vegetarian (but not vegan, a little egg-white in the batter) corndogs at the dog-maker at pike's place. It's the perfect place to take a date.

I think we should totally make those buttons like we were talking yesterday with slogans like You must believe in not believing and Become an anti-activist activist! We should totally start a non-profit organizations whose mission is to raise awareness about the futility of non-profits working towards social change. God bless irony, err...
