It's useful if I want to head towards Everett, but it ends before even entering King County. So I usually take 76th/Meridian down towards Greenlake. I like the maps suggestion to ride on the sidewalk: not what I want to do while heading South (heading against traffic on the sidewalk, where I'm involved with more turning cars). I may be an idiot, but I usually sprint my ass off as I change lanes (or move over while the light is red) to make the left onto 76th: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=966548

I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that in the next 6 years, Mountlake Terrace plans to add two whole blocks to the trail:
Although according to the Lynwood Parks map, there may already be a section done, so this could just be completing one of the missing links. But still, man, this is why I think the Interurban Trail (north) sucks dead donkey dicks.

I live about five miles from the Interurban. I've never been on it. That's probably because unlike the Sammamamamamamish and BGT, it isn't the easiest way to get anywhere.

I hate the phantom overpass in the Everett/Lynnwood-ish area of I-5. You can clearly see that the overpass has no approaches connecting it to the ground and a 1/2 mile further down the trail you have to cross the freeway with all the auto traffic, with the trail running on the sidewalk. Super lame, and that fucker has been there taunting me for years.
