Too late now, but for future reference, get to a station like 10 minutes after its official closing, and they'll be happy to give you all the leftover water bottles, mini-Clif bars, etc., you can carry. Anything you take lightens their load on the way back.

damn, I rode by bikestation this morning at like 10 after and almost thought of stopping but didn't see anyone out.
