I almost got clipped by a truck full of fucking lawn jockeys today. I was coming down Dexter in the bike lane when a truck full of "gardeners" stopped, then turned right without signaling.
I skidded and breaked just narrowly missing getting sucked under the year wheels. My instinct kicked in and I SCREAMED "WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?"
Lawn Wranglers' posse was all hanging out in the parking lot laughing at me. I asked them how fuckin' funny it would have been if they hit me?
What I should have said was how many of you assholes have greencards (low blow, I know but I was to frazzled to think of it then).
Then some asshole pulls up next to me and trys to lecture me on why it was my fault for riding no handed, making me want to climb a tower with a high-powered rifle.
I need a drink.

me too, but that's only because it's been nearly 9 hours.
Yeah, I know. Me riding hands-free had nothing to do with his illegal turn though. And in my defense, I was still able to command the bike around his truck.
It's like saying because someone wasn't wearing a helmet it was their fault they got hit by a car.
And I still need a drink.

What about the fixies with no brakes? Hipsters: beware!
there's no such thing as a fixie with no brakes, since all fixed gears have built-in jake brakes. some moron judge in portland disagreed, so they're fixing the state law to change the braking regulations to be a test (10mph to 0mph in 15 feet).
