He pulled up when I was up at the front, at that mass-up stop. He was super pissed about us taking the viaduct, promising retribution and trouble. precheck your loads for contraband next month, just in case y'all.

and last I checked, three ^ thingys mean they were police brass. This guy wasn't some pissed transit narc.

No shit. It was fun riding the viaduct, but causing 10 miles of gridlock and taking all four lanes is a recipe for some motherfucker to run you over.

I actually tried out for the Seattle Police Department back in the late 1980s. Being a young white male and with Affirmative Action (btw, it pisses me off that Clinton dismantled the program) still in place, my chances were slim considering that 90% of the class was white guys. Needless to say, I didn't get in and instead became a bicycle mechanic.
Anyway, I do distinctly remember questions on the test about how not to get your emotions involved. I think they were hiring Vulcans!
Oh, and btw, I scored 90%, not good enough for a white guy.
