i saw a guy in carkeek part today with one of these and another one behind it on a cruiser schwinn. the 2nd one was smaller and wonkey looking. i was wishing they weren't going the opposite direction so i could witness them turning the corner.
i think they still beat your kid being forced to stare at ass the entire time in one of these

Saturday, Alison, me (Eric) and Johnny (Bike Shack) were out riding on the BG when a guy towing his little girl on one of those passed us. Alison was riding beside Johnny and I was riding behind them. The guy with the trailer shouted "on your left" and a second later passed very close to Alison who had moved right as close as she could. It looked like the guy may have thought he had cleared everyone and started moving back toward the right prematurely. At the same time, it also looked like his daughter was swerving around on the trailer which brough the wheel of the trailer into contact with Alison's front wheel. Rather than fall on top of the little girl, Alison swerved away and managed to stay up for a second or two before biting it. She hit her knee and scraped up her elbow pretty bad. Ruined a nice day of riding. I'll avoid any rants about how unsafe the BG is, but riding on the street seems WAY safer than the BG on a crowed day.
