Running up and down 7 hills in Seattle not enough for you? Warm up at the Ballard Street Scramble:

http://www.streetscramble.com/

I'll be doing it, then ambling over to Gasworks for Mike's race.

Emmett and I swept the course and came in on time, which was the first time someone other than one single guy on a bike did so.

We still came in second overall to one single guy who swept the course and came in before me. But thanks to our perfect score, Emmett and I won the series championship (best 4 of 6).

Afterwards, I ate a lot of watermellon. It tastes so good after a long, hot ride.

NB: watermellon (spelled correctly) gets changed to cheeseburger. I wonder what gets changed to corn dog?
