I was going to suggest Arlington as the halfway point anyway. I have a route to downtown Snohomish, after which I believe finding the Centennial Trail is a piece of cake.
Here's a half-assed gmaps route from Magnuson to what I believe is the Snohomish end of the Centennial Trail and back:
Out via Seattle Hill Road, back from Snohomish via Broadway. With 35 miles on the trail, that's around 90 miles total. If we want to make it a century, we can add the loop along the Snohomish River to Lowell.
Now all I have to do is get my wife to agree as to what time of day I can leave. Lunch at the halfway point would be fine with me, as would be lunch at Snohomish on the way in (if we get a later start) or on the way back (if we get an earlier start). Snohomish has some good pie. Oh yeah, and it would be nice to get the weather to stop sucking.

sounds like similar route to the 100 miler I did for the ADA. I have that map if youd be interested?

I've got a map from an old Cascade ride. Heck, I've even got a cue sheet. Maybe I'll make a few copies.

Route. May not quite be a century, but close enough.
Dane, Joby, Molly, Jessica, my friend Ruben and I met up at Red Square, and after some bike finagling, ended up leaving Recycled Cycles at around 9:45. Molly had a fever and peeled off around Bothell Landing with Joby. The rest of us got to Snohomish and pie a little after noon. Snohomish Pie Company sandwiches: not so good. Snohomish Pie Company soup and espresso: not so good. Snohomish Pie Company pie: yum!
Anyway, the Centennial Trail is nice, fairly new (so few roots), not so crowded, and it has hills! Not too difficult hills, but noticeable all the same. We took it to the end, which is just a parking lot south of Arlington, and then back again to Snohomish by 3:30. Ruben zoomed ahead to make a 7pm date, leaving the rest of us to climb to Maltby, where we were passed again by Ruben, who had had a flat. Down to Woodinville and over to the BGT again, where Dane zoomed off. I left Jessica (the only single speed rider, and whose previous long ride was 40 miles) at Matthews Beach to chug up the final hill to my house. Got back at around 6pm.
Despite some threats, it never rained and was frequently sunny. Thermometer in downtown Woodinville claimed it was 73 as we passed through.

slow sunday was so slow we didnt end up going anywhere. zekes pizza. they didnt even want to finish up and go to their last destination of ballard
the point83 girls showed up (alyrae, cass) and we ended up meeting al at beths
i think we put on more miles going to beths and back than slow sunday did alltogether (cap hill to downtown)
