On one of our weekend rides we should meet at the UW and ride up to Edmonds, take the E/K ferry, ride down along the water to Poulsbo, then loop around Bainbridge and get some beers in Winslow before coming back on the ferry. It's a good 50-60 mile ride depending on the route and almost all of it is low traffic good times stuff.

Damn, I'm wiped out from the last 4 days of Hell^WBellvue and need to be domestic tonight. I like Alex's forest ride idea. I also like the above for a weekend ride. I don't think I'm realistically able to ride a full century (comfortably) yet. Lets do this soon.

How does June 16th look, meeting at 10am or so at Red Square. I'm out the following weekend, but could potentially do it June 30th.

Anyone who knows a good route to Edmonds ferry would be helpful, I often get lost.

We'll figure out how much of the Chilly Hilly route to do based on how people are feeling. My preference would be to go play around in the woods too.

Late lunch/beers in Winslow then ferry back to downtown and head home from there.

Why would you want to go to the summer soltice parade? I hear they have a shit ton of nude guys (and gals) on bikes. Also, are you celebrating your birthday all day?

June 16th may actually work for me, all I had listed that day was "Flying Wheels Summer Century" but this plan sounds more enjoyable. I will need to verify that I can temporarilly pass off my backup on-call duties while riding, but that shouldn't be an issue.

So I had my on-call schedule off by a week (early). Which means I'm actually /primary/ on-call for Saturday the 30th. I'll see about getting someone to cover that day so I can leave the pager at home. Getting to ride around in the woods is definitely my preference.

I don't know how to get to Edmonds but I've been wanting to figure out a route to reach ZuKafe. It doesn't really make sense to stop there if we're heading to the ferry though.

Here are two routes to Edmonds from 145th and Greenwood. One is on arterials and pretty easy to follow. The other is more on backroads and more pleasant, but harder to follow. In fact, the backroads route I know actually goes on the south and west sides of Shoreline CC, but I couldn't remember exactly where, so I copped out.

The 30th is looking less good for me. I'm still open for the weekends beginning the June 16th, July 7th and July 14th. Some Friday's may work for an S24O. I had STP blocked out but I don't think I'm ready for that. I want to go on a ride or do an S24O before summer is over!

July 7th is Bruised by Bike (Minibike Polo).

14th might work, but it's hard for me to think that far in the future.

June 16th I want to keep clear for the Solstice Parade I think.
