Bike the Burke Gilman and Sammamish trails to Woodinville's cluster of wineries. Mock, avoid and throw rocks at Redhook because it's shitty. Expect a full day adventure.
If you want, we can grab a bottle of wine or two and picnic on the grass.
WHEN:
Saturday, June 16th
10am - "whenever we're tired of having fun"
WHERE:
- Meet at 10am, U Village
In the outdoor patio seating area inbetween
Specialties Bakery and Atlas Food
(southwest area of U Village complex).
- Mingle, greet, stock up on coffee, breakfast, etc.
If you want a real breakfast from Atlas, show up earlier.
- Hopefully head out around 10:30am.
We'll be going cruise speed, and drinking wine.
BIKE GANG is for FUN!

Why exactly is the Redhook brewery shitty? Is it because it has pretty damn good beer, or that it's located directly on a bicycle trail? Or that it has outdoor movies in the summer? Go to wineries if you want, but don't hate on Redhook!

This weekend there's also a washington beer festival at St Ed's. $20 to get in but hundreds of beers to try.

Do you have more details on this? All I knew about was the Seattle International Beerfest June 29th-July 1st. Beer at St. Eds is a good reason to ride up that damn hill.

I'm with Bobhall on this!
We had a kickass time there on the 24 hr ride (oh, did we not mention we didn't ride the ENTIRE 24 hours...silly me)!
I'd do this, 'cept i'll be at a million dollar log cabin on lake Wenatchee geting drunk outta my gourd for days on end.
Someone spank a squid ass for me, huh?

Well, because their beer is realtively flavorless, and their food is overpriced and underflavored. I really wasn't impressed. Maybe I'm a snobby seattle person, or maybe I've been spoiled by good beer, but the next time I do the "beer run", I think we're just going to a bar in woodinville, and skipping the RH macrobrew and cafeteria food.

What side of the lake are you going to be on? I have a cabin on the South Shore that I'm going to be doing some work on this weekend. It's down by Glacier View Camp Ground, sure isn't a mansion though. Do you guy's do any MTBiking while ur there? I'll be there by myself most likely getting drunk. Pm if u want.
On a side note I seriously almost ran into an Elk up there on the Hidden View trail last weekend MTBiking. Sorry to thread jack...

Dunno...never been there before.
i guess the place is huUUUUge (holds 16 peps comfortably). We may or may not take bikes...depends on how much room we have in the truck (kids take up space and cant be strapped to the roof...damn). If I take electronics (not sure I want work trackin' me down) i'll shoot you an IM fo shure, but dont take it personal if i dont...i like to leave the techie toys at home.
Look for the trike too...i might be doing laps around the lake, if thats possible.

We ended up going there anyway for food, cause I guess there's not really anywhere else to eat in that vicinity. hit the columbia and st. michelle wineries. stopped lakeside on the way back to kill a bottle. this was a fun ride.
