We hit the N and the W points on the compass the last two weeks which leaves the S and E, I suppose that S come next in the CCW rotation. Longfellow trail and the Pacific Rim Brewery and White Center Taco Truck would be good. As we come back North I have new special spot. Getting in and out is no problem but leaving would be more fun on the old trail/road grade. I might lean towards a larger tired bike if that is an option for folks. Don't worry road bikes will still be fine though.

How fine is fine? My only currently operational bike has 28s. If that's going to make the going rough I'd like to know so I can make some hurried repairs to my other bike.

I'm at 23. I won't be riding if we're doing offroad for more than just entering/exiting a park or etc. like a in more than can be walked without losing the group.
I'm sure I'm not the only one in this boat.

we sometimes ride on gravel. period.
everything we do is easily accessible with 23's. if you are not comfortable with that put wider tires on your bike. if that doesn't work get a fatter bike. if that doesn't work get a map and figure out where we are going.

The Longfellow creek trail is as smooth or smoother than the Carkeek park trail. 23Cs are fine.
I am looking forward to seeing Andre's secret spot! The view should be great!
Let's stop at the Delridge Deli Mart for refreshments. They have a decent beer selection for a convenice store.

Route tonight will be perfectly flat, straight and smooth, please install 19mm tubular tires at 160psi or else I am afraid you will not be able to keep up.

OH noes! My only bike has 58 mm tires with huge metal studs poking out of them. I'm not going to ride if we need tiny high-pressure tires for this ride.

Unless the surface of I-5 is considerably smoother than 99, that is not the flat and smooth route....

Good: gravel trail riding through delridge, Big time brewery, Aaron being ridiculous with a chair.
Bad: Crashing into Derek, full on broadside. Ouch. I'm really sorry about that.
Weird: Cops everywhere on delridge, one warned us to be careful, and then they were there, full lights, full speed.
PS. Not bell. I meant blanchard. sorry.

eric, that was mostly my fault, i made a sharp turnaround and didnt check to see who was on my left. no harm no foul
i dont remember any conversation about any cockpuppet
i chased some asshole down in belltown that decided he'd honk at me super close and try to run me down off the road, caught him at a light like always, had some fun words. i had a freshly road rashed leg from the earlier crash and i thought later how i should have called the cops and told them that he bounced me off his car onto the pavement and then ran off. (had his license number). ahhh hindsight is always 20/20. probably could have gotten him some nasty tickets. we just yelled at each other for a bit then went our own ways. good times

you shoulda rubbed a bit of the blood and lymph off your road rash and rubbed it on his face. That always gets a good response.
and i got yer cockpuppet hanging... show ya later hon,

tonight i was pushed by someone in a car coming up 10th from the north. Threw me off to the side and I had to hop the curb to stay up. Then they threw a few bottles and sped off. Chased the guy for a few blocks with a U lock till we hit broadway and he made off safe and sound. Couldn't get a license plate.
I love assholes
