Hope you're okay, Aaron, Joe, Dane, and whoever that guy was (the one who was falling asleep at the Brewery) we lost on the way back who kept falling on the trail.
I can vouch for Cupcake Colin, he went with me and Johnny for 2:30am hashbrowns and eggs when we got back.
What happened to you kids after I-90, Evil Mike? I thought you were riding up to the hill too? You headed downward with the main group at the park, while me and Johnny cruised uphill one block and hit 20th & Jackson. We just coasted down, down, down, the rest of the way in to capitol hill. If you all went someplace better than IHOP (where we ended up), I'm jealous!

Home again, home again, jiggety-jog.
That was the longest fucking night at the ER I've ever spent. Stitches in my chin, stitches inside my bottom lip [1]. No concussion, no fractured jaw bones, etc. 1pm appointment with the dentist tomorrow. I've been awake for about thirty hours now, but I'm not really in the mood for sleep.
Time to catch up on my British comedy shoes I guess.
Also: God Damn it. I totally did not want a disabled list spoke card.
[1] The Maxilo-facial doctor at First hill Swedish = awesome. The regular ER guy at Cherry Hill Swedish was okay, but they were slow as cock.

4 injuries, epic ride, nekid pointee3ers, brewery that doesnt serve in pitchers???, socking Derrick in the balls (how U doin?).
I here by decree that the wooden posts be officially re-named from Bollards (which is a stupid name anyway) to Goss Stops...cause gawddamn if it didnt do just that...FUCK, i cant believe the bike damage that caused!
Hope all you bleeders are truly okay, or will shortly be that way. epic!
For the record, Rouge Brewery can suk my sack! I'm not going there again. What brewery dosent sell in pitchers?!? LAME!!! Food was not even close to worth the price. We'd a been better with cases o PBR and zillions of corndogs at the lake...

I don't think the Rogue deserves a sack suking rating
No pitchers, odd but I've heard it before.
Food qulaity fine, quanaity was chincy
Full bar too.
Had a back room with somewhere for all of us to sit, they were just short a table.
Service was great though and that goes a long way for me. Tracy (our server) handled 25 surly riders without batting an eye and had no problem ringing us up individually at the end. Funny thing was how she even mentioned the portions were small.

Wow, what a night. I decided not to stop at the 5 Point because I didn't want to get home in the light with birds chirping, so I went home to take a bath and get Lake Sammamish off of me.
Dane, I'm glad you made it to the ER tonight and didn't wait until morning. I hope all the rest of you mother bitches are doing okay.

I second the getting Lake Sammamish washed off - funnnnnky.
And the ride home? Say it with me now, it was super easy. Piece of cake! Umm, yeah. By the end I was deliriously tired … barely crawled into bed.
Hey Kevin – thanks for the “+” email thing – it worked, as you can see. Next item of business? Getting an image of some sort.

Surprisingly I am not that sore. My leg doesn't even hurt when I walk, only when I squat down to pick up something. Had a shot of vodka and a Tylenol, then watched some boob toob about the universe and went to bed.
Bicycle wheels are amazingly strong. I haven't inspected my front wheel yet.
But circles are stonger than triangles! Well, actually, a wheel is just a bunch of triangles, so figure that on out.
Looks like we need a wrench party. I'll be staying late some night soon to build a new bike. I am going to put my parts on this frame:
Only because it has Tom Richey on the seat tube:
One really cool thing about the Bleriot is that it can take several size wheels. 650A or B and 700C

Tracy did kic ass...even brought me 2 pints even tho when i asked i got the stink eye!
We had to bus a table so we could sit. I love the beer, but their waaAaaay too east-side-ed. 8 bucks for a chincy ruben...my 5 yo makes bigger sammies than that!
I'll regress to one suck of a ball insted of 2 just cause of a decent server, the rest...BAH!

Doing better. I managed a nap, some chocolate ice cream and what-not. I'm posting from the comforts of bed via wifi.
My only real kvetch is that they gave me hydrocodone. My brother and I are the unlucky 3% of the population that a lot of opiates don't do jack shit for (I don't even get a tiny buzz or anything). They are pretty much exactly like taking 2 tylenol... because they use tylonel as part of the mix.
I mentioned it to the physician but was too tired to argue with her. I know she thought I was trying to argue for a 'stronger' drug or something. No you silly bint! I was trying to argue for a *different* drug family.
Bah.

Dane that sucks about your teeth - hope your dentist does good work for you. That was a lot of damage for one ride! Though that was the best midnight swim ever, the water was perfect. Sorry I missed out on breakfast but when we hit downtown I was pretty sleepy and saw no other option but to make a beeline for home. Washed off the pond scum and slept til noon, today's Vashon bike trip postoned until tomorrow. I should know better than to make plans for a Friday morning anyway. I didn't have any food at the brewery but that mocha porter was damn good! Next time we go there I'm getting the chocolate stout float.

She has been really good in the past.
Two are chipped off the edges and I expect (hope) she can just build them back up. The middle one... not so good.

Does this qualify as the most serious damage ride yet?

Three crashes in one night. Happy solstice, indeed! Oh, I am very stiff today. Have couple of sweet road rash patches, one with some ground in fibers from my now thrashed wool shirt. I also believe that I have a rib out or something. My helmet is a goner, as an attachment for the fittings broke and now it doesn't cinch down on my head. To add insult to injury, I got a flat not long after crossing I-90. On my way back up north, however, I did observe the aftermath of these:
I haven't looked closely at my bike, but I assume it will live.
Dane, I think you win the worst crash of evening award. I hope you make a speedy recovery. Aaron, I'm glad that your noggin is okay.
All things considered, I think I should've gone swimming.

looks like after aarons little spill after the i-90 bridge... madness continued to ensue .. glad I pussied out and turned back around with Ron a loyal employee of performance bicycles... a sleepless night in seattle the night prior was not allowing me to feel the vibe of this potentially dope ass ride...... looks like i get the pussy spoke card for this one.
By the way, while you all are counting bodies, I claim one of the disabled spoke cards.
Turns out I really did break my collarbone when I flipped over last Thursday in White Center.

Broken or fractured? Damn, that's hardcore to keep riding the rest of the night on it.
Accident Tally from last two Thursday Rides:
On Bike Paths: 3 wrecks including broken bones, teeth, and bikes
On Roads: 1 wreck
Bike paths are dangerous as shit!

Should I bring the easy chair next week?

I personally witnessed four crashed on this ride, and wasn't even there for Dane's. I demand a re-count!

I'm guessing my initial supply has now run out, but only Derrick knows for sure. I'll make up some more when I make up the Yarn ride spokecards.

Considering this last Thursday, I have added a little first aid kit to my bike bag. Now, let's not need to use it in our future bicycle cavorting!
Look, it's Hello Nurse! (I am not a nurse.)
edit: Nevermind Hello Nurse and the picture to which I tried to link.

Many thanks to whoever did produce the bandages for me. Though I still got blood everywhere.
I visited my Dentist (she = jawsome) and I'm even prettier than Henry now. A few more days to reduce the swelling and I can return to my normal state of being pleasantly ugly instead of frightening small children.

No such luck. It wasn't as bad as I thought and there is a real crown there now instead of something like an implant. So it's not removable.
