riding to work this morning, i braked/jerked/swerved to avoid getting my ass sacked by a fedex delivery truck. in the process, i felt something in my lower back go "poink!" and now i can't move without large shooting pains of icy hot death shooting from the base of my spinal cord down to my feet.
also, i just quit my job and started working at a place called, ironically, critical mass. ironic, because as some of you may remember me bitching about, critical mass in this city blows.
also, hi. i still miss all of you, and think it very rude that nobody's made their way up to canada to visit me yet.
hugs and sloppy kisses (and extra groping for henry),

Scotty,
Sorry about the back, the injured list down here hasn't exactly slacked since you left. Take two aspirin and come to 'Merica for some of our over-priced health care.

That whole "required passport to visit Canada" thing really holds me back. Sorry, but it'll happen eventually

dwed...that sounds like you tweeked a disk in your lumbar region. It doesnt take much some times to toss one of those outta wack. The shooting pain from your ass to your feet would be pressure on the sciatica nerve, teltale sign of a disk injury.
Ibuprofen (for inflammation), rest and ice will help temporally...but if it persists go see a doc...you DONT wanna take chances on a f-up back (trust me!).

no, it's on the welders bench...a few weeks out still. It's comin' unpainted so I can polish the aluminum to be all bright and shiny!!!
Not to mention that's an Actionbent and i'd not regress to one of those. Like going from a Colnago to a Schwinn or Paris Hilton to Bens mom...
