I got to Denny/Dexter minutes before a crash today. I got a sick feeling there because there were no obvious smashed up cars. Found out tonight it was car vs bicycle.

The guy that got hit was on a Fisher mtn bike. Red small dick car. Rider went to hospital for injuries. Any one know any more?

Didn't see that.

Another cyclist was hit, good enough to snap the steer tube. This morning in the U-District while I was enjoying an Americano. She seemed okay, but shaken up. I didn't notice any cars stopping or conversing with her. It may have been a car vs. bike, hit and run, or mechanical failure, but I am only hypothesizing at this point. I just saw a fucked up bike and a scared individual.

Watch yourself.

this incident (there are not accidents in life, all things are the results of choices) was witnessed by a few KEXP staffers, and John Richards noted it in his playlist and remarked that it was pretty grizzly, with a few staffers pretty shooken up.
