I'm looking for two things to finish up a bike for a friend's 12 year old daughter.

I'm looking for two one thing:

27" aluminum front wheel
Dia compe non-Aero lever hoods or other non-Aero levers in decent shape

The hoods that are on the bike are dry-rotted.

Cheap / free / swapping for parts I have is preferred. I'm already doing this for straight cost and a low budget.

your LBS is now ABR

I was confusing you with Zanimal. Both start with a "Z"

I was refering to Eric moving to West Seattle.

I'll latch on to Dane's thread here...

I'm looking for a 36t-39t 110bcd chainring. nothing special, but if you've got something like that hanging around, let me know.

I have a 34 and a 40 but no 36-39.

Also: Thanks for the levers Forest. That leaves me with just scrounging a front wheel.

I looked at my gearing, and a 34 would be good, if you're willing to give it up.

Sure, it's been rattling around in a box for a couple years now. Straight cash ($10?) or ... a 27" alloy front wheel.
