Reporting live from a coffee shop in Amsterdam: Sarah and I took the train down to Ghent to catch the end of today's stage. It's total madness, imagine a 20 mile long mosh pit, with yelling, beers hovering around the crowd on helium balloons, shwag being thrown at you from the pre-race sponsor parade, and elderly women ready to show their tits to Boonen when he rides by. Don't forget there is no beer garden, the whole thing is a beer garden (a Belgian Bier garden at that).

I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them off the camera.

That's 01:00, right? To watch live? Or are you wussy and watch the rerun in the afternoon?

I'll be by either way on the new bike, just trying to plan sleep...

I've been watching the ITV4 30 minute highlight shows since the prologue. They still have Phil Ligit and Paul Sherwin but lack the domestic humor of Bob Roll. Tomorrow's stage profile looks brutal. I can't even comprehend the kind of riding the guys are doing in the mountains. I'll probably stop by tomorrow.
