Can we get a wrench party please? I need to do some work on my bike before the STP. I don't know how. You guys do. And don't you want to get on the opportunity to drink beer and work on bikes with your friends?

alex hosting one would be awesome, as that'd mean 'not in BFE.'

I could also use a wrench party. I've got a squeak in the drive train on my Kona and don't feel like investing in the necessary tools to pull cranks an BBs to figure out what the source is right now. I'm out of town this weekend though and may not be home until late Monday.

Actually, I /have/ a bike stand, I also have a sweet deck with a view of lake union. I do not, however, have many tools. If anyone wants to bring their own tools and additional repair stands for a future outdoor wrench party I can offer my deck up for use. I don't have much beer left from the 4th but Pete's is just a block a few short blocks away.

I am prepared to bring (pick one):

    fancy beer
    pink pickled onions
    Mexican-spiced chocolate no-bake cookies

Aww! But fancy beer and mexican-spiced no-bake cookies would go so well together!

Hi, I'm Pedro's universal crank puller. I'm under $20 from two "local" merchants with free shipping / in-store pickup Amazon $18.99 and REI $19.

Isn't the 8mm hex wrench on my backside hot? You can thank my dad, Pedro for that. Remember when he sponsored .83 and provided goodies for the FHR and a few Greenlake races afterwards? Mmmm hum, that's right.

---

It has worked well for me. And it saved me the public embarrassment of re-attaching my drive train on the wrong side. Damn not having a bike stand and working upside down. Why do those suckers cost so much?

Monday, July 8th, 7 PM, OK with me.

Future parties at other locations will need to be organized with them. Alex has expressed interest, and I would love to go to one at his place someday.

i suggest crashing Bens "house" as rumor has it he doesnt lock his doors and has lots of tools and a rack or two.

also available there; a killer roof for tap dancing, a awesome neighbor who loves hippies and lots of room.

Laura told me she wouldn't mind...
