So, like Henry, I would like to get in some extra miles this weekend before the big ride down to Portland next Saturday, and, unlike Henry, I didn't leave my LHT up on an island (so I'm actually able to take part in such a ride...). Unfortunately, I'm not very familiar with our local bike routes, outside of the Burke and the Snoqualmie River Trail, but if anyone has other thoughts, or wants to join me in what is sure to be a (somewhat) misguided adventure this weekend, I would most definitely enjoy the company...

The hills would be great prep, for sure. If anyone isn't completely comatose on Sunday, and wants to go for a more easy-going/distance oriented trip, that would probably be the day for it.

Supposedly the easiest flat century in the area is out to Flaming Geyser Park and back. STP route to the Green River Trail, then follow the River to the park. Or go down Airport Way to the south end of Boeing Field, find your way to the Green River/Interurban Trail in Tukwila, and, again, follow the river.
If you're looking for more hills, but still not too hard, try the route we took here.
I much prefer Snoqualmie because (a) it's a different route out and back to Snoqualmie (b) pie vs. sunburnt hicks with fireworks (according to my wife).
I, will, of course, be leading the Yarn ride Sunday. If you're looking for more hills Saturday, try the Ballard Street Scramble. I'll be trying to nab the Series Championship while pulling my kid in a trailer. I'm nutty like that.

I'm looking for a good ride Saturday. Can't do anything Sunday. Anybody anybody? I was thinking something around 100 miles and not too hard?

Yeah... Having just gotten off work an hour ago, and still planning on some hilly racing action tomorrow, I'm starting to wonder how I'm gonna be feeling on Sunday.
