Note that NW and NE 83rd also exist. I suspect the competition for the two or three Barnes Ave NW signs will be steeper.

Yesterday they took done the Boren and Madison ones. Looked rather easy, wire cutters and a small step stool. Save yourself 5-15 dollars and snip your own.
As the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) installs new street signs, the department will store the old ones and make them available to anyone for $5 - $15 (depending on sign and condition).
Bullshit!

When they razzed High Point the contractors THREW AWAY Cycle Lane SW street signs! It was a 5 or so block long street. I made calls and kept getting the buck passed. I found out the signs got thrown away, not even recycled because no one wanted them! WTF!

Needless to say, I do NOT see them on the list.

The main reason the street signs are getting replaced is because drivers cannot see them. Either they are driving too fast or the average eyesight is getting worse!

Aaron, if they listed every damn street sign in the city, it'd take you days to download the PDF. Also, there would be some numbered streets on the list.

Clearly, these are just the signs they have right now. Like Craigslist, you have to keep checking back.

apologies for lurking-- but,
If you want a sign, the only way to get anything is to actually go down to the shop EARLY and/or wait for the trucks with signs to come in. I went this morning and everything sold out in minutes. The staff is taking out all the Pike, Pine, Ballard, Fremont, etc signs. I presume these will be auctioned on ebay. I managed to get away with a Rainier, Mt Baker and slipped out with a Ballard.

See you on the roads
