I got my track bike finished (save the bar ends, computer, and plugs), and was thinking about going for a ride tomorrow AM at about 04:00 or so to test it out. Nothing hard or far. Just from Fremont up the Burke or into downtown for a 10 mile spin or so. Anyone planning on being awake around then should feel free to join me. I'm sure I'll be getting coffee somewhere in there too if you are game.
Call me or post here. Cheers!

nice, keeping Langston out too late.
I gave Kat and Langston each a ride home and finished installing my Enduro on my Track bike at home by 06:00.

I don't see how this relates to last night. I'm not Langston's parent and he's a grown ass man. I figured the 15 minute drive home vs the 50 minute ride home would get him more sleep and ensure he didn't have any crashes like I did on the 5th.

Thanks, but it didn't work.
And I was all set to surprise Langy with a bottle of Women't Tylenol. The SAFE kind!

Actually, it worked like a charm. I delivered Langston home with 3 fewer crashes than I had on the 5th, and a full 30 minutes faster than if he had riden home from John and Charly's. Besides, he clearly got more sleep. As a result, I fully met my intended and stated goals as listed above.
I even got the bonus of waking up the person who lives above him just as we were 10 seconds or less from finishing the "Thanks for the ride", "Sure thing man" exchange. If she had just stayed in bed for another 30 seconds (I'm including get up, dress and walk to the door time), it wouldn't have mattered.
