If i see one more jackass rolling around without lights, brakes, dare I say helments and most of all Some Fucking Common Sense I will personally get in my car and run them down.
Maybe it's just too much time on the Hill, but I swear 40% of people on bikes want to injure themselves.
I was back in bellingham for the weekend and I must say there are a lot more bicycles on the streets and highways (out in the county). It's nice to see. On par the people riding on the highway are more squiddy and often have areo bars and are wearing helmets. But in town riding a bike has a much more relaxed feel and I must say the majority of people on bikes that I saw were not wearing helmets, it was almost refreshing in a way. I'm sure there are fixies but I didn't see any that time, mainly rigid old mtn bikes.

Helmets are for people who want to keep their brains within their skulls, and not splattered across the sidewalk.
It's a personal choice, though. Sort of like smoking.

You forgot drunk jackasses on bikes. Look out all of .83, Henry's coming!
I wonder though how you'll manage to run yourself over with the car while you're drunk on a bike?

it's worth it to know that after you hit me you'll have to drive around for five hours looking for parking, scenester!
this may become substantially more dangerous, however, once we are neighbors.

I always wear a helmet when I smoke. It's just common sense.

What about old gray snarly snarky bicyclists? I think you should stop riding a bike when you turn thirty and start acting your age. And what about people that post and don't have a cool picture by their name?

Ro,
After seeing how much stuff you hauled out to the Hood Canal it's safe to say that you are beyond cool and tough.
So, you pretty much get a free pass on everything.
