i got back from having some doctors look at my arm again. apparently my fracture is named- it's called a galeazzi fracture, or "the fracture of necessity," meaning that surgery is necessary for recovery. 100 years ago, i'd be gimpy in that arm. thankfully, we live in the times of MEDICAL POWER.

speaking of medical power, too, they gave me a CD with the data from the CT scans they took of my arm. i found some software that makes a 3d model out of it. i present to you my wrist!

no, actually, that's when i broke my other arm test-riding a fancy skinny wheeled bike and getting the front wheel stuck in a gap in the road. took it back to recycled, paid them for the wheel, took myself to the er. go me.
