This raises the question of what the fuck we're doing.

Personally? I'd like to see it involve some booze.

Nygaard suggested we go around Mercer Island. I like that plan. We can Booze on the I-90 lid.

I don't know why the fuck you ride with .83 then, if you're just in it for the booze.

My name is Chris Langston, and I support this idea. Whatever destination has gotta be good enough to justify a likely damp night or I'm cooking dinner instead.

Riding around MI is ... what's the word .... INCREDIBLY BORING.

Places i've not been in many turns that are infinately cooler than the MI loop:
- Tin Hat
- Pacific Rim
- Seatac Airport Hotel Bars
- Beacon Hill Greenbelt
- Colonnade MTB park

Honestly people, if you want a 17 mph training ride on low traffic roads i know of a great club based out of sandpoint that organizes them EVERY NIGHT.

I got a blinky light this time. Bring your helmet and maybe we can stave them off before they make any of their bitchin' U-turns.

if we're going riding bikes, I'd, you know, like to actually spend some time riding before I'm drunk and it's dark out. Pac Rim would be fun, if we go up through High Point and then south along Military Road.

As long as it does not involve sitting around in the Ballard Taco Time talking shit about Langston, I'm down for whatever.

Also, it would be closer to 13-14 MPH, judging by the typical pace of previous rides.

I'd be down to hit the chief sealth trail, provided we turned left and went out towards the lake to loop back to seattle, but I don't know of any decent routes back which do not involve: hills or road work accompanied by heavy traffic.

I'm Pacific Rim also sounds great, though we'd have to take a different route than the longfellow creek trail, just for variety.

All y'all motherbitches,

I'm moving away on Monday, and this will be my last pointy3 ride for some time. If I've ever beat you at a Greenlake race; if you've ever beat me at a greenlake race, if we ever drank a can of vodka under and overpass; if you've ever skitched a train with me; if I ever put my foot through your rear wheel; if you've ever professed your love for me in the middle of a ride, or just proposed we make out on a park bench; if you've ever crashed my tandem; if I ever tried to kick you in the head while you rode your stupid little trike; come on out and see me off in style.

I will tolerate no speeches, and I will accept very little attention. Just come on out and ride bikes with me before I leave.

If you've ever heard me loudly bemoan that my cunt hurts in front of children and elderly folk out in the sticks of northern Washington, if I've ever nervously ridden in the shadow of you tallbike that you were riding offroad and drunk with no lights in Discovery Park, then you know that I will certainly be by your side this evening.

Let's tip back a can of vodka to old times, new beginnings, and a happy healthy taint.

Let's add some markers for public toilets to that map, just in case derrick scrounges in his refrigerator again before the ride.
