Ro,

We are hoping to be on the road by 4 this afternoon but my daylight calcs still put us at close to arriving at dusk or later. There is a slight possibility that we may camp and have dinner part way up and finish getting to the townsite early in the morning. So don't worry or think we ditched if we don't show Friday night.

Joe
I am heading out the door, but depending on side trips I may only make it to the Sauk River crossing before I set up camp. I'm not sure where Ben and group will be at dusk if they are leaving late also. Otherwise I will see you at Monte Cristo Camp tomorrow.

Any suggestions on foods I should pack for this overnighter? Since I don't have a stove, what kind of food bribes might I be prepared to offer to get someone to boil some water for me?

Looking forward to getting my camp on.

Apples? This time of year? Feh.

Have a good time. I'll be doing a much less ambitious trip with short people on Squak Mountain.
