We will be up there on Friday night. We could have room for 1-2 more for the trip home.

Amtrak is a good way to get to B-ham. We might be able to have a place for a few people to camp the night before.

Climbing is good!

I'm in for this, tentatively. I'll be looking for a ride up there, unless the missus canned be coerced into to going.

A warning to pirates from the race page -

If you're thinking of poaching the course without registering...please don't. We have special use permits for this event and any persons wishing to skirt the event will be handled by a local Sheriff who will be on-site...please don't make me do that.

Unlike the roads used in Chilly Hilly and STP, SR 542 is closed to the public during the event, so pirates are not allowed, unless you get started with the early group before the road is closed.
