The Interstate 90 Floating Bridge will close later this week when the Blue Angels return for Seafair.
No traffic, bicycles or pedestrians will be allowed on the freeway between Interstate 5 in Seattle and Island Crest Way on Mercer Island during the aerial performances, with traffic stopped up to 30 minutes before performances.
Exits from westbound I-90 to Island Crest Way and East Mercer Way will remain open, but expect heavy traffic at those exits during the bridge closures.
The 520 Floating Bridge remains open this week, but not to marine traffic.
The I-90 closures are:
Thursday, 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m., and from 1:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.;
Friday, 12:45 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.;
Saturday, 12:45 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.;
Sunday, 12:45 p.m. to 2:40 p.m.
