If a .83er wants to go to this, since it is a CBC members-only thing, I'm willing to offer up to 4 free CBC memberships to .83ers so a few of you can go and not have to shell out cash for it.

Dude, it is just an offer. You don't have to do it if you don't want to.

Keep doing whatever makes you happy.

Hey It's an offer to learn how to be a fucking jerk (or not to be) from one of the best fuckng jerks in the business. I'm sure I could learn a thing or two, if they would allow be to sit in the corner with duct tape wrapped around my head.

Sweet offer! While leery of crossing over to the "other side" (kidding Dave, kidding), I can't deny the potential usefulness of this sort of thing. Let's talk.

why?
to learn how to pass awesome advocacy measures such as driving your car to a trailhead, or maybe that fucking awesome helmet law?

i'm pretty sure that "education" is not what you get when you listen to someone who thinks placing helmet restrictions on cyclists will increase meaningful ridership.

you mistake my posts as actual truth. i think i'd sans the sharp objects in the eye for slamming my dick in a door...and i do believe Laura (not bens laura...the other one) has convinced me to attend this with threats of physical violence and alcohol abuse.

I can't quite parse the last part of that paragraph, but either way it's amusing.

Ah, that seems to happen to me on occasion.

I'll be there just because I'd like to be more effective when I get up in front of groups like Lake Forest Park's council and am pissed off at what they are trying to do to people on bikes.
