Why is it, that when corn is added to a can of anything it becomes "Fiesta" flavored?

Unless it's added to lima beans, then you just have Succotash.

this comment might be corny...

With my special lady friend out of town for the week, I volunteer to be tonight's ride captain.

Upon examining your account history i'm going to have to decline this request. We like our ride captains to have contributed at least $10,000 to the Point83 Capital Improvements Fund.
You could however apply for the position of Second Assistant to the Chief Jackassery Officer and Liaison to the Liquor Control Board.
It just so happens that the above position is responsible for suggesting a ride route tonight.

IT'S ALL IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE PEOPLE.
Is there an application fee for that position? Is there a stipend associated with it?
I'll admit, I didn't read the Terms of Service before signing. But ya'll can follow me into oblivion if you like.

Where did you kiddies end up going? The bolt attaching my saddle to my seatpost had a catastrophic malfunction, just as we got onto the Burke after leaving red square.
Funny: My saddle lying on the ground
Not so funny: Riding far enough behind that nobody noticed me and Alexis stopping to assess the situation.

Yeah, we're really bad about not stopping when we don't know that someone has fallen off the back due to mechanicals, steep hills, or vehicular homicide attempts. Drinking establishments on the other hand, seem to be something the group locates without error.

we stopped and I went back to look for you... sorry I didn't go far enough back...
we went through ravenna, over the aurora bridge, up and over the backside of queen anne where we catcalled Ben's main squeeze, then down to the nickerson that would not serve us and then over to the pacific inn and then we scattered and went back up capitol hill etc.
It was a short small and somewhat sentimental ride that was all cute and fuzzy... we also dropped HappyStickPerson going down a hill, he got sucked into a gravity well and never came out, we waited for him also... we actually waited a bunch for people tonight... but our waiting failed in every attempt...

Sucks you got dropped Rob. In my experience, the best way to avoid that is to yell really loud, but it doesn't always work.
I totally skipped this ride because I had to pack my bags, but I saw the ride crossing the Ballard bridge. I was in a car being driven to dinner by Carla. Mike waved.
I'm going to be out of town until the 20th, so don't assume that I'm dead or anything. I'm probably not. Just visiting the Heartland/Homeland (Minnesota).

ummmmm yeah I looked back after a block or so and everyone was gone. climbed back up that POS hill and couldn't find any sign of you guys. so I rode down the trail stopped and had a beer. rolled down to elliott bay books and picked up a copy of the new Ellis novel.
then I went home and cried in my bubble bath cause you guys ditched me.

we waited in front of ben's house for around 5 minutes for you, but you never came. i hope you enjoyed your beer and your book.... this was like the survivor ride, ditching people 1 at a time until only 1 remained.

I often find myself in the library on Broadway, or in the media room at school sitting by myself, looking like an idiot laughing my ass off at some point eight three thread.
Whether Derrick is shitting his pants, people are having weird late night post ride bus rides, naked people in the park, survivor-esque Tuesday rides... I'm always laughing heartily.
I love it.
