Feel free to swing by with your bike and any problems it may have. Bring some beer to share and any parts you need. I have a repair shop, but not a bike shop in my house, so I don't have parts to sell (usually). There are three rules though given my wife's up and coming comprehensive exams:
- Keep the volume to a minimum
- Limit the conversation with my wife to what she is willing to partisipate in (she likes you lot, but she's got work to do).
- We wrap things up by 22:00 or so.
After fixing stuff, I propose we ride over to People's Pub in Ballard for a beer and test rides.
See you there. Or, as Jeff pointed out, not.

i think i'll come by for this. after stumbling through my own fixie conversion, i'd like to see how it's actually supposed to be done (or a close approximation considering it is .83 after all). i want to see someone take apart a bottom bracket since this is still kind of a mystery to me.
i'll bring beer and essential dumpster bread.

A chair may not be a bad idea either. I only have two in the house and a lawn chair outside.

I'm bringing my cruiser that needs lots of work before the photo shoot!
And beer of course.
And probably some dumpstered food too. I've found I make a mean dumpster meal.
BTW. Whoever it was that alerted me to M Street Markets dumpters, somewhere here on the forum, you are my new best friend. I don't even have to pay for food anymore.

Aden, I'm so glad that dumpster panned out, I still haven't had a chance to hit it! There's a dumpster-diving community on LJ (source of the tip) that I have to recommend: http://community.livejournal.com/dumpsterdive206/profile
happy diving!
See y'all there, I think I'll likely be more onlooker than doer, as well, since I don't think I'm ready to fixie-fy the frame I picked up and Vera appears to be in general order, but I def want to see this done.
